Something about this time of year when the weather shifts and the days get shorter, it\u2019s always a bittersweet feeling to me. I\u2019m a Summer gal through and through, you will not see me complain about heat and humidity because I\u2019ll take that any day over short, cold winter days. But here we are, the first week of Fall and already, I\u2019m sad to let Summer go.
\nIt\u2019s also been the absolute strangest Summer into Fall season, as the majority of our weddings were just over the past several weeks. And with that said, I\u2019m sad to see the weddings go too. There are only a few left until we head into holiday season! I don\u2019t know about you, but it has felt like the longest year and the shortest year and I actually can\u2019t wait for 2021 to get here already.<\/p>\n

We have a few teasers from our recent weddings on Instagram and I\u2019ll be blogging a bit more on those too, but let\u2019s look back to another sun filled September wedding from 2019! Oh 2019, I\u2019ll never complain about you again\u2026.;)<\/p>\n

Courtney and Shane\u2019s wedding was just the right touch of Fall to me! We love accents of wine anytime but I do feel that it\u2019s really a color better suited to weddings going into Fall and Winter. It\u2019s moodier so pairing it with lighter colors helps keep it from becoming too dark.<\/p>\n

Courtney\u2019s maids wore a beautiful burgundy dress so they had bouquets of mostly white and ivory with touches of wine. And with Courtney\u2019s bouquet, hers was a classic composition of white, ivory and blush. Her gown stole the show and she looked absolutely stunning so we kept her bouquet more tailored.<\/p>\n

The tented was touched up with smilax above the dance floor as well as along the farmhouse tables. We popped in bud vases of flowers throughout which made this a more whimsical version of a floral garland. Loved that look! Their round tables had natural stone urns filled with dahlias, ranunculus, anemones and garden roses all in shades of white, ivory, blush and wine.<\/p>\n

It was a beautiful version of rustic chic, in my opinion! Jonathan Edwards already provides this gorgeous, country side vineyard setting. Adding in farmhouse tables and cross back chairs, and more natural floral arrangements, now you are all set!<\/p>\n

Courtney and Shane celebrated their first anniversary and we wish them so much love and happiness!
