Well, with all this EXTRA time on my hands and with the website revamped a bit, I thought it’s as good a time as any to post some featured weddings that aren’t in the galleries so you see even MORE flower and wedding goodness!
To be honest, it’s always so hard to pick the weddings that are featured in the gallery because we love all of our clients and their weddings! And to have to whittle it down to (45) over the years is not an easy task!
So in my current downtime, I’ll do my best to feature a few more weddings for you!
First up is Libby and Jack! Are they not the cutest??? Oh my goodness, these images just exude their personalities and love for one another! Not to mention, the importance of having fun at their wedding!
Theirs was a local wedding, so I really wanted to feature one of our favorite new local venues, Stone Acres Farm.
This beautiful 200 year old property is right down the road from us (okay like a few miles) and is perfect for a relaxed tented wedding reception in a farm like setting. The gardens are so lovely and there are so many nooks and crannies for pictures galore! Even the antique yellow farmhouse is so picturesque and has the BEST wallpaper!
Libby’s family have a summer home nearby us in Noank but not only did we have that in common, her mom also knew my Sister in Law down in Baltimore so we connected on both Maryland and Connecticut! What a small world!
Libby and Jack had fun personal touches to their wedding including Jack and company changing from suits to their kilts, a personalized choreographed first dance, and a red Telephone Photo Booth featuring a hysterical life size image of the couple.
Libby loves blue so we incorporated touches of pale blue nigella and blue thistle throughout the wedding flowers. It worked perfectly with all of the white, ivory and blush tones.
Everything about this wedding and this couple exuded a relaxed and effortless feel! And judging by the images, I think you’ll agree!
