Summer 2020 is looking very different from any other summer these last 15 years. The thought of having Saturdays “off” during the summer is practically unheard of in this biz. I suppose I’m excited to have a few extra days perhaps in the sun, by the water and such, but I’m so used to working every Saturday it’ll be odd to say the least. Frankly, I’d rather be at the weddings…
For now, we have so many to share, that I’m going to keep plugging away here because I just love showing off our couples and our weddings!
Juli and Nick were married last July on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon right here in Mystic. The Seaport is within walking distance from our studio and is within view from our back entrance. If you want a nautical wedding and Mystic is the area you are considering, then a tented reception here is the place for you!
What screams nautical more than a Sperry tent? I’ll tell you! Juli and Nick arriving to their reception by boat, that’s what!
Add in some monkey knot favors from Mystic Knotworks, and you have yourself the ultimate Seaport wedding.
Embrace I say! This is a coastal town after all! Juli and her family keep their boat down here in Mystic so of course there will be nautical touches!
All of the flowers were shades of white and ivory. We were able to snag some of the last of the peonies for her day and they were beautiful.
Her maids wore gorgeous floral gowns so the bouquets stayed clean and compact, as did Juli’s bouquet. Juli just sparkled in her gown!
AH TO GO BACK to last July!!! Well, we can never go back, so looking at these images will have to do.
Enjoy.
